    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Not yet though :P Only if I see a GK4 for sale will the GK3 be going/ extreme poverty. Both are equally likely

    What have you heard about a v4 of the GK????  I'm gonna get my hopes up searching the tinterweb only to find there's no such thing aren't I :P

    Maybe it isn't a GK4 but i SWEAR that he brought out another with an extra knob under the blend knob. I'll try to find it...

    Edit I was wrong. It's just a preset switch. A handy extra but not an update to gk4
