Just curious. How many have seen 'Audition' and how many enjoyed it?

Yes, seen it and enjoyed it. The way it went from mannered love story to bloodbath was a hell of a jolt. I've recommended it to several people.

I don't know of anyone who watched it after I suggested that they should. I had enough trouble getting people to watch Oldboy TBH.

Man Oldboy is such an awesome movie. I can't legitimately believe anyone would watch it and not enjoy it. Particularly the bit where he bonks Bruce Willis' ghost.

Er...

But yeah. Audition is freaky. Yet another movie me and my wife bonded over. She is weird. Might watch it again this weekend, not seen it for a while. Might do Ichi The Killer too.

I've seen it and I enjoyed it. 

I was warned that it was going to go mental, but I can imagine being pretty freaked out if I hadn't. 

My top tip is to go up behind someone who's just watched it and say "Kiri kiri kiri"

My wife made me switch it off halfway through when it got nasty, when it was on telly a few years back.

Yeah - not sure if enjoy is quite the right term!! But certainly glad I watched it! I remember watching a DVD extra after though and concluding that there was a ton of subtext a about Japanese history that totally passed me by...

Watched when we had video tapes! Made the mistake of viewing it when slightly pissed, found meself having to lie down on the floor and breath deeply...

Good film.
