Just bought myself one of these as intend to do Crem's White Room. Since it's the only thing I will probably use a wah for I just bought the cheapest simplest wah I could find. However, now I've opened the box I have to say I'm disappointed with how cheap and delicate it looks. Plastic gears and exposed cheapo pot.. Anyone had any experience of these? And are they tougher than they first appear. At the moment I'm wondering if I should take it back and get something a bit more robust.

I don't know the Vox version but I have had the Dunlop equivalent Crybaby GCB95 from 1989 and only ever changed the pot.

Jumped on it all this time and it works fine.

If the current version is the same (may not be) might be worth a look?
