It's 3am and I'm sat at lands end having just driven here from Plymouth with daughter (aged 1) asleep in the back. Staying in Plymouth as we (me the missis, son and pain in the ass in the back here) are going to the National Marine Aquarium in the morning.

But true to form the little madam went off to sleep fine and the starts tossing and turning at about midnight then the whinging starts then the crying and it's game over. Trying to keep her quiet so she doesn't wake the boy up. So I thought "fuck this" put her in the car and jut started driving west - next thing I know I've run out of country.

Ah well better turn back and try and get her out of the car and back into bed without waking her and everyone else up

Or I could just sit here till morning and head back...............

Seem like a long time ago though as my main troublemaker baby is now over 17.

Two of mine are now officially good sleepers, one's 2, and the 5 yr old fucked his iPad last night by dropping it from a great height. The 9 yr old is managing to hang on to hers, just.

You will. Wait until you go and do the school pick up at Yr 1 (5yrs old) and the teacher comes out and says, "Can I just have a quick word...?".

My two have both got stinking colds at the moment, and they seem to be taking it in turns to wake up at the moment.

Yes I remember those days.

I had two cars I could use a nice comfy Golf or a Lotus Elise with sports exhaust and direct to head throttle bodies, i.e. is was very very loud. She'd only go to sleep in the Lotus with the engine just inches from her head.
