I just hit "pay now" on an order that'll see a triple NPD, and it'll be all things Fairfield Circuitry. A Randys Revenge, an Unpleasant Surprise, and an Accountant are winging their way to me. Guillaume has been a true gent and given me a very good deal. A deal that was made even better when it transpired that the invoice was in CANADIAN dollars. Suffice to say, I feel like I should be wearing a mask and a striped shirt.

Oh, and a Mr. Black Supermoon care of Joes Pedals turned up today.

    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
