Boss TR2 £45 boxed pic to follow. Trade wise I'm interested in boss bf2 or crowther hot cake to go with my ac15 or other interesting overdrives,delays and reverbs. Cheers.

Any idea of how old the TR2 is?

It's made in Taiwan, silver label. leaflet in the box is 2004 Product range if you have any idea how to date it properly I'll look into it cheers.

Only reason for asking is earlier ones suffered from volume drop but apparently most recent ones have addressed the problem.

I haven't really noticed one. I'll plug it in and double check. Just found serial no from May 2000 and there is a slight volume drop.

Whats the difference between the mutant fuzz and the scrambled brainz?

Mutant fuzz is a fuzz face type. Its based on this fuzz sound I believe the switch on it makes a lower thicker nastier sound. The scrambled brainz is based on an ampeg scrambler. It's good on bass, there's a blend knob so you can blend some of the clean in. Here's more you tube
