But as @digitalscream suggests I fear personal disaster.  If you saw how clumsy our Boxer is, I'd probably end up wishing I'd spent out on big grey indestructible Cornish pedals.

I don't!!! Doesn't impair performance though. I give them a clean if I'm selling them, though.
