Who make the best Tele kit? Thomann's Harley Benton?

Just like something to learn how a guitar work and something to build.  What should I get? 

 

Budget £100 including all the parts.

    You won't get the best Tele kit for £100 so just get the cheapest, within your budget they are pretty much all the same, give or take.

    Fair enough, my budget can be a bit more flexible I guess.

    What if I just want Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, no hardware.  Contoured body and arm cut.

    How much would I be looking at and who do I go to?

    I will source the hardware separately, it'll be a long project to learn about guitar so I can discount the hardware costs for now.

    The only alder bodied kits I can think of is Brandoni http://www.brandoniguitars.co.uk/kits.asp

    The quality is a cut above the Chinese stuff.

    They do come with hardware which is okay.
