To change key and save mp3

I know Logic does this i.e. import mp3 change it's key and re save new mp3. However, I don't want to payout the money, being the tight person I am, so is there another way I can do that i.e. online anywhere or something?

I use Transcribe! to do this sort of thing (and, learning songs) all the time.  It's not free but it's cheap, £25 and it's got a 30 day free trial so if you only want a one off you're good to go.

Change a song to whatever key you want.  Today I've just dropped Jessie J's "Price Tag" a tone and I'll send the mp3 to the singer so he can learn it in his range.* 



*his problem is working out how to download it /:)

I meant if it's safe to use with a Mac I.e. No bugs that will mess with it etc?

Can be done on garageband - there are many good youtube tutorials.

No idea if Audacity is okay on OSX but I've never had issue with it on either Windows or Linux.  It always seems pretty stable.

Thanks Guys. I just worked out how to do it in Garageband. I had to delve deeper but it's there
