Coincidentally my birthday today as well - mercifully not an epoch defining one yet, but it's looming .....  sadly the big 5-0 is long gone, it's been ok tbh.

Well folks,...just when I thought no-one was looking..I check in tonight to see all these messages !

Thank you all very much for the replies, we had a few days in London staying at the Millennium Bailey hotel Kensington, did few hours in Denmark street, plus London Eye, Tower Bridge, Science Museum,  The Shard, and Hard Rock last night.

Came back today, all in all a good few days.

I'm treating myself to a new guitar soon I hope, but still undecided , Les double cut, Flying V, PRS, EVH...or something like that.

@maltingsaudio....indeed, I really dont think my mind has aged as much as it should have !

Congratulations.... So what is the birthday guitar going to be ? 65 strat maybe???

Have to say approaching the big 60 next year I am more relaxed about life. Still in a stress filled job , but switch off better than I did when I was in my 40's. Not looking for promotion and less interested in material stuff.

The bad news now is you be spammed by saga, and doctors start taking more interest in you. Enjoy your day

Mmm..been looking at a 65' something....but all seem a bit too much £££ really, it does have a certain appeal though !

Yeah still here quietly in the background ... I've got to admit I dont come on here as often as id like to, Ive moved house since you came and it needs a bit doing to it so my spare time goes and i've now got another little girl (4months old) I-)  ... Ive still got the axis ss and ive got another Luke on the way as we speak this time its the new luke 3, I sold both my luke bfrs I had and my full rosewood p90 one.
