I see this listing for an Ibanez RG550LTD its old and compared to mine its in awful condition. But he s got 12 bids. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ibanez-RG550LTD-Blue-neon-/291376599284?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43d76610f4 But when I put my near museum peice RG760 on Ebay a year earlier. 'All marks are genuine'

Oh good , they are best type.

    I think folks just prefer 'vintage ' 550s :-)

  • more to the point who is charging him £250 for a fret dress?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    'Cos Relic innit'

I guess it depends who  and how many people are browsing for guitars at the time. In November I saw lots of Epi LP auctions get pulled at the last minute for lack of interest/low bids and one completed sale of £85 then just before Christmas there was a spate of White Epi Customs selling for £300+ a piece. Ebay is a total mystery if you ask me.

It's got a case but other than it being a square heel, I'm a bit confused!

  • Old RG550 is more "iconic" than RG760 I reckon.

The guitar market is not based on logic. :)

I'm just a Maserati in a world of Kias.
