EQs are mor versatile than plain boosts. Also if you use a slight cut in some frequencies for rhythm playing you can just turn it off when it's solo time.

"A few" covers upto 20 dirt pedals.

"Some" covers more than 20.

I'll think of another description when I get past 50.

There should be loads of Mini Spark Boosters flooding the market as they were being given away before Xmas in a buy 2 Toneprint pedals get a free Booster offer.

At least J Collingridge supplied pedals don't take up much room on your board.

Your amp is already a hybrid valve pedal/amp. It's essentially a HT Dual transformed into a pre-amp. So in terms of distortion, you should have it all onboard (I know I was able to get borderline Mesa style tones from a little HT-5 when I had one). Also being what it is, it doesn't respond quite as nicely as a 'pure' valve amp does to boost and OD. That's just the nature of the beast I'm afraid.

They are a cracking amp for the money and offer a lot of tones on board. They're just not very versatile when it comes to using them with pedals.
