Hotcake, Rat, Timefactor, Whammy. Who needs reverb? :p

But if I had to, one of those Hardwire ones, supernatural is it?

Barber Direct Drive (lots available used), TC Alter Ego V2 or Flashback (depending on taste), TC HOF mini (if you must have reverb).

What type of fuzz are you after? For all round versatility I'd go with a Guitar Systems Fuzz Tool Jr. For a Muff type thing I'd go for a Blackout Musket, for a fuzz face maybe a Jam Fuzz Phrase or MJM London.

What type of fuzz do you prefer?

  • Big skys are £175?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I should add at this point that I already have

Hardwire RV7. Really nice but doesn't do long enough trails for me.

Hardwire DL8. Perfectly fine but I do t find it particularly inspiring. It's a kind of set it and leave it pedal.

EQD Hoof. I can get this to sound great, but a minor nudge of the controls and I have a totally different sound. I also had a fuzz face silicon. Nice enough but rather particular about where it sat in signal path.

I also had a plimsoul which I have just sold. Just wasn't for me. Want a nice crunch out of an OK pedal and this was a bit too mental

Lots of the Skreddy stuff is muff voiced

Right now if it were my money, these would be under very strong consideration:

    FUZZ

    - Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise - a stunning snarling noise box
    - Empress fuzz - sounds great on all demos I've watched. Great clarity of tone, even when cranked

    OVERDRIVE

    - Crowther Hotcake - my drive of choice
    - Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop Millenium - the sheer weight of plaudits coupled with my brand love is weighing very heavy on my wallet with this one. All owners gush about it; I suspect one will land on my doorstep eventually.

    DELAY

Oh where to start. Could probably do your whole budget here alone, but in all honesty if you have to come in on budget, it's hard to look past the do-alls for cheap that are the Vox Delaylab or the Boss DD-20. I had the latter...very hard to find fault in truth. Won't excite you, but will do everything you ask of it. If you want to go nice and boutique though, but still relatively affordable, then I'd look at-
    - Mr. Black Dark Echo
    - Old Blood Noise Endeavours Black Fountain
    - Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master

    REVERB

    - Mr. Black Supermoon. Wonderfully wobbly and weird. Personally prefer the standard one, but to each their own.
    - Old Blood Noise Endeavours Procession - I want one. The end.
    - Neunaber Wet - looks hideous. Sounds great.

I gots the cash. I needs the pedz.

When is the Procession set to land on these shores? OBNE website says shipping in 3 to 4 weeks for pre-orders. They have them listed on Guitarbox.... pre-order through there?

    I'm moist.
