the good peeps at MS are talking about giving W10 free, for the 1st year, to certain past users (W7 for one)

so if I go for an upgrade will my BAND IN A BOX, REAPER and my Sibelius stuff work OK?

There is a long discussion about W10 and its audio implications over at the Sound on Sound forum.

The conclusion seems to be that the days of Msoft leaving peeps hard and software high and dry are gone and that they have learned from the hate and resistance to Eight and the cockup that was Vista.

I have 4  W7 computers and so I am eager to see how this free upgrade works.
