This will probably give the game away, but it's best I can do in the time available.

  • has the count to 5 arrived?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • What I like about this is that nobody has any sympathy for you having an operation, it's all about the pedals.

I didn't even read that far.  I just saw a wink and started scrolling down to see if he'd posted again yet.

Best of luck with the operation Paul

home from the op with a hand that has to remain bandaged for six weeks !  I've even got a sling, but I'm sure that's going to get boring quickly ;)

so no demos for a while - even of the Count to Five, which should be here before then :(

the pedal is the Bit Quest that I was beaten to by that very nice @Wazmeister chap, who spotted my call of dibs and upon payment dispatched it with his usual speed and fine packing (I was extra careful when opening it).

  • Nope! It does seem to be a pedal that is essentially my board, condensed.
