Komet 19 - thoughts?

I have serious GAS for one of these, but can't find one in the UK to try - anyone had a chance to play one?

Youtube videos are very limited - just one guy really, who goes on about how the amp signal is clean, but has clearly added delay (and gawd knows what else) at the desk

I keep reading that they are very loud for 18w - I had a Budda 18 that was also pretty full on, but I have a decent attenuator, do that doesn't phase me in an of itself, as long as the tone isn't significantly compromised (I've found that, 6L6s take more of a hit that EL34s and 6V6s in that department, so I'm a little concerned about what it might to to EL84s)

The Komet love was strong on TGP about 5-10 years ago but seems to have abated a little. No longer flavour of the month I guess.

I'm sure they're well built, good sounding amps though.
