    I think the problem stems from trying to sneak up on and shoot badgers... that means finding them first... very inefficient ... 

    Give me 500 tonnes of semtex and some shovels (and presumably a work-force as I'm too lazy to do all the work) and I'll have yer badger problem sorted out.

    I'll also solve the problems of ramblers, rats, soil, grass, fields, sparrows, hedgehogs, local residents and probably dogs and cats... but by golly will those badgers know what hit them!
