Best multi effects pedal home use?

I'm wondering what is the best multi effects effects pedal out atm to use through a pc and monitors. That will be its only job. Tones wise mainly blues/rock. Think
John Mayer/Clapton/ so I'm not after a million effects in a chain just a classic tone that is as realistic as you can get from one of those pedals

I have owned a boss gt 8 years ago so surely they have progressed well since then. I don't want to buy another valve amp Due to the sheer volume and boutique pedals I will then want to re purchase totalling to much ££££££
