Double post, ignore me. Can I delete double posts? Procedure anyone?

I'm probably missing something glaringly obvious, but no such thing as a stupid question and all that!

Anyone know how to get at the speaker?!

The previous bassist for the band i'm in has left his amp at the guitarists house, as it's stopped making a sound. It still powers up, and from what i'm told it will work when plugged into an extension speaker. From looking at it, it seems like the speaker cable to the amp is very tight, and my thoughts are that it might have come loose at the speaker end or there is a break in the cable somewhere. Well within my means. The only problem is getting to it.

I've had the head unit out. Couldn't seen anything immediate to help.
I've taken the front grill off and unscrewed the speaker, but it seems to be glued in place and wont come away from the baffle.
No immediately obvious screws on the back to remove the panel to get at the insides.

Anyone?
