I think your original add may have been narrowing the options way too much.  Your want someone who 'looks good' but also plays bass.

 Sad thing is, theres respectable business' that would do exactly that. I can imagine its a shock though to be asked.

I had a chap a few years ago that wanted a receipt to show I'd received his guitar (which I didn't have, as no-one had asked me for one before) and because we couldn't resolve the issue (for some reason writing one out on a piece of paper wasn't enough) despite me pointing out that as he was standing in my lounge, he knew where I lived, he took it away, never to return.
