Core ID 10 Users ambient hissing?

Hi All,

I bought a Core: ID 10 recently and whilst it's a cracking little amp for the money there is a rather amount of ambient hissing, I've updated the firmware thinking that it was just an old firmware but it's still pretty hissy, any idea what may be causing it and do you experience this issue?

It's not like a *massive* deal but it's annoying

Any help appreciated!

Mines exactly the same, but for the price of a cheap ish pedal, you can't expect excellence!

Very true!  Just wanted to know if there was an easy fix, it's a small sacrifice to make to get such a good sounding product for under £100

Mine hisses a bit as well - I think it's normal.  Doesn't bother me, but might be annoying for recording.  Wouldn't be acceptable on a hifi amp, but for guitar I can live with it.

But for me it does spoil the enjoyment of using it, so I don't anymore, shame.

I've got the ID:20 - yup that hisses a lot too.
