I listen to it a lot. Radio's on most of the day. Listening to something called Boxer & Doberman. It's very silly but the way it's played completely dead pan has made me laugh out loud, which can't be a bad thing.

    Oh yes.

Loads of great stuff on there, and a lot of classics that wouldn't otherwise get airtime.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

    A regular here too.

My 28yr old bleach blonde colleague used to insist on Heart FM on any trip, managed to convert her - society has a chance!

I'd say that the broad diversity of radio programmes from BBC radio still makes it the best radio broadcaster in the world.............................

  • listen to it every night, admittedly at first as a get me to sleep tool but 1/2 hr sleep timer turned to 1hr then 2hrs now I don't bother with the timer. lots of great comedy on at night.

One thing I love about radio is that I'm not held captive in a chair having to watch a box. I can potter around getting jobs done while being entertained and educated.
I gave up watching telly about 8 or 9 years ago because I just wasn't watching enough to justify the license fee and I really don't miss it at all. If ever I think it might be nice to watch something, I have a look at the programme guide in the paper and that usually cures me.
Radio and the occasional DVD is fine for me

Yes, the 2 hour comedy club at night's got some good stuff and there's comedy from 7-10 am as well. Plus some good dramas throughout the day.

  • Yup I do. Tbh radio 4 and extra are worth the license fee on their own .

yes, 4 Extra and 5 Live are most of what I listen to, though a lot of the 4 Extra output is via iPlayer

Love R4extra. Worth the price of a DAB radio for this station alone.

Best purchase I ever made was my DAB radio (apart from me guitars, that is).

I agree, watching a screen when driving has got me into no end of trouble.
