Frank Skinner - barely funny in the 90s and even less so now. Can't abide him.

Red Dwarf - again, I laughed at it years ago, but it hasn't aged well at all and seems hopelessly outdated now in terms of the humour...

The Mr Bean sketch in Comic Relief was painfully unfunny.I used to find him funny years ago but I was young and stupid back then.(Still stupid,not so young).

Hale and Pace. I watched one a few months back-I felt suicidal for them. Horrendous, used to make me laugh as a kid though.

Oh, I like Frank Skinner ( may be hint of regional bias). +1 on Red Dwarf though.
As a kid I loved Some Mothers Do Ave Em but when I last saw an episode just seemed offensive.

Well to be fair, all of Comic Relief was painfully unfunny. The Beeb should have been sued under the trades description act.

Noooo... Red Dwarf is quality !  (Well, the early series... the more recent ones are shite).

I remember laughing at Jim Davidson when I didn't know any better.  It was standard in the 70's to watch the like of Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson, "The Comedians", Mike Yarwood (fuck me.... now if there ever was an exercise in "WTF did I ever see in that act"), Mike & Bernie Winters etc...  We were starved of decent acts then.  Actually, things haven't changed much have they ?

Frank Skinner used to be a bellend but he's mellowed nicely and is pretty sharp these days.  I like him.

I bought a Tommy Cooper DVD recently and I enjoyed watching him as much, if not more, as the first time round.

When assessing his back catalogue it's prett clear that the level of humour is directly proportional to the strength of his accent.

It's an aging thing, your not supposed to like the same things your whole life I spose. I grew up watching things like Love thy Neighbour, 

Till death us do part, Rising Damp and all kinds of shit that would be deemed offensive now. Jim Davidson was huge, Benny Hill was om primetime TV chasing young girls in bikinis around the park with his tongue hanging out ...  I couldn't watch any of it now, not because it's offensive but just because it's not funny. 

At the mo I love Gervaise, Micky Flanagan and some others  but prob won't in 20 years time
