Anyone ordering from Metro Amps soon - Want to split postage?

I'm planning on ordering a zero loss FX loop from metro shortly but quite frankly their prices for shipping are pretty steep for something so small so just wondered if anyone else was ordering parts from them imminently and wants to split the shipping costs and then sort out the import duty and uk postage later?

I want their 10,000 series I think they call it amp - it's the 100 watt valve head unit, but I am restraining myself, I'm trying to cut back on the amount of guitars and gear that I buy, I seem to buy at least two guitars a month without failure.

  • Have a chat with Martin at MJW amps.

He supplies and fits them. Not sure if he sells separate though.

I spoke to Martin about it, he could fit but doesn't supply.

I've actually spoken to my amp tech mate about it and he's picked up the wiring diagram from Marshall for the loops they put into a JCM 800 which pads the signal on the send and buffers it in the return back to the usual strong signal level. He told me the parts estimation was £8 and given that he tends to charge me near enough bugger all I think I'll run with that option instead !
