DIY Dual Output Tap Tempo Wiring Question.

I'd like to try making a tap tempo switch with two outputs so that I can tap the tempo into two different pedals simultaneously. I figure I need a momentary DPDT switch and two mono jacks. 

Would this wiring set up work? :

Or have I got it completely wrong?

Some guidance from someone who knows what they're doing would be useful.

Anyone able to help? I know I could buy one but I could potentially make one for a third of the cost, which is appealing!
