I've always wondered what happens to train or flight timetables when the clocks go forwards or backwards, I kind of imagine some kind of wormhole opening up into a tangent universe, Donnie Darko style

I reckon daylight saving was invented by a Victorian Tory.  Definitely has the typical traits of Tory policy.

'Look, we are so generous, we have changed the time and you have gotten an extra hour of time to spend at your leisure'.

Nothing however, was mentioned about having to get up an hour earlier the next day though, but then, by the time the people twigged it was already Monday morning and the bill had been made. 

What amazes me is that people still fall for the same tricks they still pull today, in this day and age.
