Bar shifts may have to continue into next year....

He's great, slept good last night and house trained.

Cute.  I find I'm a bit funny around 4' high mange ridden ferrel dogs with fangs larger than my index finger, that otherwise should be put down and will go for you, then get you on the ground and then go for your neck and eat you.  I think it's because I can't see their pupils, so I spend a momentary millisecond looking at them, which I guess they regard as a threat and as I still can't figure pout what they are about, it's gets me even more jumpy.  The combination means confrontation. 

Where as with blue eyed dogs I get along fine as there is this mutual respect and understanding without the need to look at each other.  It's the same with my sister, she has hazel eyes and I can't finger her out at all, never could and she's liable to snap and bite your head off too at any given time.

Serial killer are the same BTW, they look at you with their big pupil eyes full of love, then chop your head off and eat you.  Ner, I don't trust dogs with dark eyes man.

love daschunds, ours is called oppenheimer (OPPIE), great fun to have as pets, mental in many ways and quite soppy with ladies.

I grew up with daschunds (not literally, my parents kept a couple) and they are excellent dogs. Mostly well behaved but very loyal and brave. Good choice!

Im not surprised @sambostar - it's pretty much insest to do that to your own Sis. Good on her for fighting back!

Excellent choice. One of my first dogs was a Dachshund, they're great fun, very playful and inquisitive, also very loyal and obedient. Lovely dogs.

Cute dog, they're great fun when they're still young puppies and seem to wriggle everywhere, not to mention that their tails tend to be wagging constantly when they're young.
