what's the best I pad app

Hi there
I am looking for a app to use with a irig stomp and I would like to be able to run through that to my amp , without amp modeling so I just have guitar signal through my amp and what ever backing track I want to.
I already have the jam up app but that requires me to play through there amp modeling when I play a backing track.

Wouldn't it be easier to just plug the guitar directly into the amp and use the iPad as a standalone player?

Well it would , at the moment I do play my ipad through a wireless speaker but I find it hard to hear the track when I play the guitar.
What ways do people use to play along to backing tracks.

Some amps have Auxiliary inputs for music players, eg Yamaha THR 10

Mine unfortunately doesn't it's a randall rm50.
I might try using earphones and see if that works.
