2006 LP Standard plus top, LightBurst.

Gigged and bears the scars to show it.

Upgraded with:

• SD 'slash' AP2 pickups with lightly aged nickel covers.
  
• Aged Faber lightweight aluminium 'tone lock' tailpiece and ABR bridge conversion.
  
• Full 50's wiring conversion with custom CTS 550k pots, .033/.015 PIO caps, braided wire & new switchcraft jack. (will supply .022 orange drops also).

Weight is a svelte 7lb.12oz.

Previous owner drilled (jabbed - see last post) 4 little holes as knob pointers, I've added vintage style ones but they don't quite cover them.

Obviously you could fill them but I never get around to it - you know how it is after a day or two... 

There are also a couple of extra screw holes beneath the jack plate from where he had fitted a rectangular one - not visible now. Also slightly chipped a small piece of lacquer when I mashed in the Faber insert posts for the abr bridge with my stupid fat hands, again - not really visible.

The rest of the wear is obvious from the pics. 

The neck is fine with very little fret wear and absolutely no evidence of any neck breaks!

Looks a lovely guitar, good luck with the sale. It's mind-boggling that someone would actually drill holes in that lovely top for knob pointers, but then again I've done some daft things in my time...

I'm guessing he had some sort of luminous dots in there for dark gigs??

I thought about mixing some wax sticks to fill them but forgot about them. Might end up doing that if it doesn't sell soon.

Holes near the pots turned out to be little jabs through the lacquer, I dropped some nitro in them but imagine you could just scratch around in there and fill with coloured wax. It's hardly a blinkin neck break!
