Securing Mooers

I have a couple of Mooers on my board, but even super strong velcro tape won't stick to the shiny rubber on the bottom and comes straight off.

 

I have some little bits of wood I use as a riser for my G3 with velcro tape on them and I was thinking I might just cable tie the Mooers to the wood blocks.

Thoughts?

I used to use a shoelace or strings for all mine. Now I don't rehearse or gig, so don't have a board, but I always just tied each pedal down

I have a Mooer board designed specifically designed for 5 of those little beauties. Sadly I sold all but one of the pedals therefore it's going spare for sale.... ha I'm so mercenary

I've turned the baseplate around on my Ana Echo & the Velcro stuck ok that way - nicely removable if it's moved on too..

If you're thinking of mounting the pedal on the wooden riser, these are quite good:

I've successfully used them with a couple of Mooers myself, and it's completely reversible.

I also use those washers and am very happ with the result.

Save yourselves a bit of cash and go to your local motorcycle dealers and ask for some chain links...might even get them for free..

I made my own. Go to a bike repair shop and ask for an old bike chain. I then took apart the chains links and dismantled the sides. I then take out the screws out of the base of the pedal. Place the link panel over the hole and screw back the base plate screw. Turn it over and screw the eyelet to the board.

Done and very secure. No one will nick the pedal either while your not looking
