Hi all,

After much deliberation I have decided to sell both my Casino and 335 in order to fund a vintage 330 as I simply love the hollow body P90 sound and feel.

Anyway, this is a 2004 Korean (Peerless factory) model, which they say are the best of the newer models (production is now in China). Upgraded with a pair of Mojo handwound vintage P90s, CTS vintage taper pots, Mojo 0.022 uf oil in paper caps, Switchcraft jack, vintage braided wire, a US made Bigsby B7 and Grovers (small chip in the back of the headstock from the tuner change, as seen in the photos).

Needles to say, these mods have transformed a great guitar into something truly amazing. The sound of P90s and a fully hollow body need to be heard to be understood. Woody but snappy, and the guitar feels almost alive both acoustically and amplified.

Couple of marks and small dings but in very good shape. Amazing grain on the back too.

I'm looking for £590 £500 £450

Based in Kingston Upon Thames but can drive within reason.

@Namaqua I'm gonna have to stick at £500 with bigsby, case etc. Taking into account the amount of money I've put into the guitar, and how much current production Casinos are, it's a steal I reckon - a cracking guitar for £500

Agreed. £500 for that is a very good price.

I just put mojo's in my Riviera. Considering how good mojos are, the quality of the underlying axe and the massive embuggerance @Sammm will have put himself through to get those pots back through the f-holes and screwed back in, I'd say this is an excellent guitar at a keen price! GLWTS!
And you know what else? Those safety lids on bottles of sanatogen. There I am trying to get the lid off and along comes my six year old and says "there you are daddy" and it's off in a Jiffy. Someone's gonna get hurt.

Thanks guys! And yes, getting the new wiring into an f holed guitar is an utter mission!

With a Casino though you can feed everything through the bridge pickup hole which is a bit easier.

Also true - at the same time that I rewired the Casino I put new pots in my 335, which was even harder

    Too cheap!

I have a similarly upgraded Casino that I thought I might sell and put the money towards an ES-330 but I'm not sure that the Gibson would be almost £2000 better.

The new ES-330s I've played have all been lovely guitars - better than an original IMHO - but there are better things that I can do with £2K.

Bloody hell man, you're giving it away.

That's some price considering what's been done to the guitar.
I'm sure it'll make someone very happy, very soon!

Make sure you find a great 330 you can try first. I picked an Elitist Casino from Coda while I was there shopping for a 330...

I would make sure I tried it before I got a 330 but the one I have played was great. And @GazLion - posting could potentially be an option as I have the case

I've played four of the new ES-330s and they have all been brilliant guitars
