Dead speakers ?

Hi all, can anyone out there make use of apparently dead speakers ?. I have at least 3 X 12" Eminence bass speakers and 1 X 8" no name, plus possibly a couple of others which I seem to have picked up along the way, I think there`s another 12" and 10" bass, 

So, if anyone can find a use for some of these, they are welcome to them, if they can pick them up from North London, (or arrange for this)

OR, i`d swap the whole lot for 1 half decent 8" bass speaker, and i`d deliver locally (N / NE London) for that.

Or, are they just dustbin fodder

Many years ago my local music shop in Dalston used to recone and repair speakers and they were very reasonable. I haven't lived there for years but it seems they're still there and still run by the same guys. The shop is Johnson & Jones and their number is 020 7254 9331. Might be worth giving them a bell?
