Got two tickets to see (the real) Quo.

Ahem.

Many of you will only know Status Quo from the panto act that they've become and have forgotten / didn't realise that they rocked as harder than Black Sabbath & Deep Purple in their prime. Anyways - the old styleee Quo is touring again next year and I managed to bag myself a coupla tickets. Kick ass.

 

Oh yeah, and Steel Panther too.

Hmmm...I saw the 'panto' Quo at the Bulldog a few years ago and they floored me, got the latest 'Frantic Four' DVD for review and they frankly seemed under-rehearsed, unhappy and tired. Might have been the fact that it's DVD rather than actually being there, but I was still disappointed

The "Frantic four" when I saw them last year at Manchester - it was quite possibly one of the best gigs I've been to. Agree with you about the DVD though...
