Any thoughts on these? Guitarist mag (April 2015) seemed to like them.

Polish, allegedly fully handmade, USA/German pickups/hardware, around £700.

Not interested in buying one, just never heard of them.

Seem to recall they are hand made at Mayones factory in  Gdansk (Poland). Not sure if current production has changed location. Not tried one personally but seem to be highly regarded.

Not seen one but I reckon in a years time there will be one ensconced in the classifieds for months unsold for 200 quid

That body shape looks almost identical to a PRS.  I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of action ahead.  As far as I understand it, PRS have their body shape copyrighted (or registered as a trademark), right down to the scoop in the lower horn, which this guitar seems to mimic.

Your almost into USA S2 territory pricewise - definitely so if you buy secondhand. I just don't see the market for PRS knock offs at the same price point as the 'lower' real thing.........

Looks very good apart from the 12th fret inlay thing.

Yeah I had one. It was really nice, but felt very thin next to my Les Paul. I didn't bond with it on a molecular level, like I have my Les Paul.

Lag, JJ, First Act, Reverend, St Blues and now Fame.

Another on the list of well-reviewed, well-specced and well-priced instruments that are imposisble to sell for a good price. They might be brilliant, but they're derivative with no name brand attached. To be honest I don't see the point.

    Used 'Core Line' CE money.

Cannot see why anyone would buy one - the SE models are cheaper!

@stickyfiddle - Spot on with the wisdom. Do these guys like Fame ever do any market research and ask potential customers "Why would you buy this guitar at this price point?"

Look forward to buying one dirt cheap next year :)

Given that they've been around in EU for about 10 years or so, I'd be surprised if they change much anytime soon.

Just taken delivery of a Fame dreadnaught case, which is very nice for the cash! The guitar looks pricey for a PRS copy, though....
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.
