Endpin plug?

Considering removing the Baggs pickup from my Taylor 214 to sell them separately. The Baggs is on an endpin-type jack socket, which would obviously need to be filled with something. Does such a thing exist, beyond plugging with wood and re-drilling? Stewmac have a plastic doohicky but it looks a bit shit.

Tagging @icbm as you seem to know the answer to everything!!

easier to get a new socket and fit that , you can get a shaped wedge but not sure if its big enough tbh

Hadn't thought of that. Not a bad idea actually!

Larrivee and Taylor use an endpin that is the same size as the jack socket. Just google Larrivee endpin.

Still probably cheaper to spend £7 on an endpin

Get the proper Taylor one, it fits using a T-nut with a neoprene sleeve on the inside and a threaded endpin 'bolt' on the outside. Very neat.

Sorted. Got the Taylor one - it's brilliant, and so simple. You wouldn't know it wasn't the original pin if you hadn't seen it before.
