  • Still for sale despite some great trade offers. I might be interested in a nice SG as well now if there's any around?

This is a lovely guitar - I encourage its sale as the owner is going to use the funds to purchase my 72' Telecaster

  • You do know that Johnny Marr is way better than SRV @frank1985?

An interesting way of provoking the rage of my inner SRV fanboy, thus subsequently repeatedly bumping your thread to the top of the page from the debate that follows. Personally I respect johnny marr's rhythmic approach but I prefer SRV's cocaine & whiskey-fuelled balls-to-the-wall blues. Marr does have a better hair-do though, I'll give him that.

  • Marr does have better hair, I'm just not sure who's hair it is anymore though.

  • I've picked up a cracking SG so now it's for sale only with a 3rd and final (I mean it this time) price drop to £850 excluding postage and any fees.

I really love the chrome hardware and metallic finish - it makes it look like some futuristic steam-punk version of a guitar.

The finest Nitro money can buy, painted by my own fair hand a few months ago.

    £850 is cheap!

Honestly mate get it on OSG, it will fly
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

That's a steal at that price fella. I've got two, a white workhorse and a Sherwood case queen, otherwise I'd have had this off you. My white one is chipping even though I babied it so am going to the same route and have it refinished a custom colour eventually like you. Just takes the right person to come along who appreciates this guitar to snap it up.

  • Plenty of interest but still for sale.

  • Still for sale but I'm by no means desperate to sell. It's a stunning guitar and worth £850+ all day so I won't entertain lower offers.
