Help with choosing please.

I'm in the market for a cheap solid state combo for rehearsals and gigs where danger money is applicable.

The shortlist so far is:
- a 30 year old Peavey Bandit (apparently fully working and in fair condition) up for £70 about 45 minutes from me.
- a brand new Stagg GA60R with 12 months warranty from my local muso shop, discounted to £60.

Any and all opinions gratefully received.

I've got a silver stripe one and it's a nice pedal platform. @icbm may recommend looking for a peavey special - same but MORE POWER.

I bought an old teal stripe bandit a couple of years ago to use at a jam night I was running and didn't wanna use my  "nice amps". since then used it at open air gigs and have no qualms about gigging with it, except  all the snobby guitarists in the audience would snigger, no matter how good it sounds.:)

I can't imagine anyone recommending the Stagg. No contest, really.
