I often browse coda used gear, who doesn't, but stock seems to be diminishing. Prob a sound business decision, but not as exciting. Hardly any Gibson's, not a Lester in sight!

I guess not many folk are rushing to trade in their gear for Gibson's 2015 offerings.

The big shops often know people who are looking for certain things.  If something comes up it might get sold via a phone call immediately.

You're right, I've noticed they have very little secondhand Fender CS stuff recently, hadn't really thought about the rest of it.

Keep an eye on the Facebook page, the secondhand gear generally goes on there before it gets uploaded to the website as that takes a bit longer and often people call and nab stuff before it goes on. We do get a lot of trade ins but some weeks are slower than others
I've just put 16 guitars and amps on there and have a couple more to put on later today or tomorrow https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153310285292743.1073741990.364693282742&type=1
one of them you'll be pleased to know is a 2015 Junior with regular tuners and a frailin P90..also....5 Gibsons, 1 Heritage, 2 PRS, 2 Fender amps, a Blade, Fender Japanese Tele and a Musicman Van Halen
No Fender Custom Shop this week I'm afraid, may have a Masterbuilt on the horizon though

£599 for the Princeton £699 for the Deluxe, they're pretty much as new, about 6 weeks old...

I've been watching their secondhand stock pretty much daily for the last 2-3 years since when I first went in there and walked out with a couple of guitars. They have had healthy levels of (for example) custom shop Fenders and 335s that have caught my eye this year so far. Also some of the K-Line, Collings, Koll, etc. I think they are just in a longer lean period for incoming Lesters, the most likely source of which is going to be Lester lovers wanting to trade up.

Was that the sunburst one? I played it a few weeks ago - very nice. Wasn't sure what all the switches did (not familiar with Tylers) but it sounded and felt great.

If it was my old one (and there can't be that many) it's a Studio Elite HD which does have simpler switching than some other Tylers

Basically the key differences to a normal strat config are that it's got a master volume, master tone (where the lower tonepot is on a Strat) & a five way switch as per usual.

The difference is that there is a Demeter mid boost built into the guitar, the level of which is controlled by the pot where the neck tone pot usually sits and is switched on & off by the little push/push pot

And yes, it is great, miss it every day at the mo
