I've been noodling on this for a fair bit of today, a lovely 50's road worn.

I know many don't get the relic thing but I love it.

Which has had the relic job done, the sideboard or guitar?

Just needs some distressed denim and then maybe the haters will start to click that people don't *just* like aged guitars!

Looks great @Hyster, I quite like the RWs too. :)

That room looks like it's decorated well. A brave move going for a skyblue wall with the dark skirting but the carpet and furniture offsets it. Very well thought out.

That's lovely. I do prefer the sunburst with a maple neck. Congrats :)

Enough about the side table, tell us about the guitar.

    That looks superb.

I've just been to the Northwest Guitar show and saw a few 'comedy' Relics there - yours is wonderful.

    That does look excellent!

When Fender first introduced the Road Worn series a few years back the stock pictures on the website made the relic work look really phoney, especially on the maple boards, but nearly all the ones I've seen in real life actually look very good.

What's the neck shape like on the '50s model?  I know it's a V profile and 7.25" radius, but how chunky is it?

@Philly_Q, it's certainly not a chunky neck and the 7.25" radius seems to be offset by really quite tall albeit thin frets.

I'm delighted with it, can't stop picking it up at the moment.

@Hyster  Damn, I was hoping you'd say it is a chunky neck!  :(

Glad you're enjoying it though.  :D
