SORTED: Japanese Charvel San Dimas or So Cal

Hi guys,

As the title says I'm looking for a made in Japan Charvel San Dimas or so cal.

This must come with the original case to allow postage.

Interested in most colours - White would be the preference though!

Ha, that's a shame!

I did message Nick about that red San Dimas. But it hasn't got the case and it's difficult for me to collect given locations.

To move it click on the Cog icon (it'll be at the top right when viewing the post). That gives you a drop down so you can select the destination section you want.

Good luck with your search @webjay I've got a San Dimas and it's fuffing brilliant.Have you tried eBay?There's usually a couple going on there at any given time.

@breakstuff - thanks, I have been trawling eBay for a while but currently there are none going. They also seem to be very overpriced on there - looking at £599 for a MIJ one. I did consider MIM at one point, but going to hold out for the Japanese one as everywhere I have read has got only great things to say about them.

Yes,you're right,the prices are a bit high.They do pop up on here from time to time around the £400 mark.

As a long-time fanboy and owner of one of the Japanese models, I played a MIM for the first time a few weeks ago, and have to say that it doesn't even compare. It feels... cheaper. Not fond of the new neck profile either (which I was assured was the same, but it didn't feel it to me!)

Yup - I have one for sale on the 'board but can't really post (no case) though I can supply a soft case and meet London/Southeast though.

Exactly like that! Thanks! Only thing is I've noticed the finish is very thin on the fretboard and bits have worn and its a bit 'dirty'. Not that I don't like it - I LOVE the feel of it and it looks cool!

Yeah, same on all of them. They do dirt up pretty quick (that photo was taken when I'd just got mine)
