These are the 3 piece ones, I just can't be bothered to try to learn how to do these an the other type (I bought one of the kits and didn't realise there was a difference in the plugs)

The plugs them self haven't been used, I cut the wire and then gave up because it was fiddly and I'm lazy

Excuse my foolishness, I can't seem to find any information online about the 3 piece plugs, and I'm certain mine were 2 piece when I got them. Have you got any pictures perchance? Cheers

If I can help clarify a little, these 3 piece lava plugs are not the tightrope variety. They are the original lava "mini plugs" which were subsequently redesigned with less parts (2!) for the new tightrope range. Lava still sells both types of plugs and the cables for each range fwiw.
