I've got a load of those progs recorded, I'll have to have a flick through.

Although TBH the vast majority of those reality type shows is staged.

Worth a look just to see the stuff though.

ALL reality shows are staged. As a producer once told me "my job is to make sure everything happens as its supposed to - costs are far too high to leave anything to chance. And they'd sack me!" I always find it amazing that more student do media degrees than ever before yet people still think that shows aren't staged and shows aren't scripted. )

Oh, I don't know, people have believed politicians for decades. The media are extremely proficient in disseminating propaganda, so a TV show is easy pickings for an apathetic misinformed public - which includes media graduates

@Bogwhoppit - Very true. And I'd add something that an old boss of mine who was involved in politics once asked me "What makes you think people want to know the truth, and what makes you think they want to believe it when they do?" It took me some time to fully understand the strange truth that some people, maybe many, actively choose to maintain beliefs that they know are untrue. Weird.
