Bought the MM from PMT this week. Took it to practise yesterday and it sounds stonking for £36! Yet to try it through my Orange R50, but optimistic it'll give me the drive I need between clean and gain channels.

    we have an FX forum?

What do they talk about in there?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

There's been at least 3 threads about the recent price drops on these in the FX section....I'm surprised anywhere's got any left!

GuitarGuitar apparently have over 100 on preorder, so plenty left to sell through by the looks of it  :)

It's funny that the Flashback and Hall of Fame have been massive hits for TC, but very few have cared about the drives....until they slash the prices like this. At first I wondered if they were being discontinued, but it seems not. Better to sell a load of them cheap than sell a few at the original rrp.
