     so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    Why? They're pretty good guitars!

    Also somewhat unconventional, they're made from stapled pine (originals) or plywood (reissues) frames with Masonite - hardboard! - fronts and backs.

    This is an original 60s Convertible… yes, they really were that crude.

    Cheap doesn't even start to describe it really. But surprisingly, they sound good.
    Yes they are good, just some people have issues with 'em, the rosewood bridges a particular bugbear it seems.

    Me? I love em.
