I've got thr chance of trading a couple of my electric guitar for a Lowden acoustic. I'd have to meet the lad in Dublin port. Does anyone know if i'll get charged duty on return to Holyhead? Cheers

    I don't see why if you went over there with a guitar and came back with a guitar, I'm guessing they wouldn't know the difference.   Not 100% but that's my guess.

    No - Eire is EU, so purchases there are tax paid - same as if you buy stuff from Thomann in Germany.
