Any standards or Trads with thick necks?

I suppose it depends on what you define as fat, earlier standards were either 50's or 60'a neck profile, seek out a 50's and try it.

The R6 neck is pretty chunky but lh boy does it work nicely with the bite of the P90s.

I like big necks (not necessarily huge but a lot meatier than most modern Fenders/Gibsons) and I always find R8s extremely comfortable. Never played an R7 but I'd like to try one to see how much bigger the neck is.

Historics are generally fatter than Gibson USA, that's for sure.  I've had a couple of Gibson USA models with "50s" profiles which I thought were actually pretty skinny.

My CR8 is fatter than my R4 was.  Never played an R6 or R7.

The fattest LP neck I've actually got is on my TV White singlecut LP Special, even though the model is designated as "1960".  But I've also got the same guitar in TV Yellow and that's not as fat.

I had 57s and 58's and the biggest neck of all was a 1968 custom authentic reissue lp custom. It was HUGE

The necks on any 2015 production model are a bit bigger than normal apparently.........
    :-)
On a more serious note my '80 standard and '79 custom both have pretty thin necks rather than fat 'uns.

Trad Pro II with 50s neck version is chunky compared to the version with the 60s neck.

Gibson's 50s reissues/historics all have fat necks to some degree or another. Being hand finished they can vary and I've played R8s with bigger feeling necks than R7s, and vice versa. Lovely, the lot of them! :)
