WTB: Fender CS Telecaster with Bigbsy bridge thimble

Recently bought a Fender Master Design Telecaster with Bigsby but was surprised at how "dead" it sounded, so decided to investigate... I found the rocking bridge thimble missing on the lower E side.  I suspect this was done by a previous owner to lower the action.  I certainly hope the Master Design team at Fender Custom Shop wouldn't have let it go like that!

Anyone know if this thimble (bushing, cup??) is the same as the Jazz/Jag version and if so, anyone know where can I get one?

    He's a real gent to deal with and has good prices too and is open to negotiation which makes a nice change!
    He normally deals in Les Paul's and a few years ago I got this 2002 Les Paul Standard from him:

    It's got a Bigsby and Vibramate on it now... very Neil Young!

    It's a '98 Fender Custom Shop John Jorgenson "Double" Telecaster, about 40 made I believe.  It has a 5 position selector switch with some incredible tones despite ALL the positions humbucking.  Here's John shredding it:

    Good prices? £1500 for a LP Classic with yellow inlays - I should hope that is negotiable!

    I got my LP Standard for £1200 and its superb... I can only speak from personal experience though and the Tele wasn't too expensive either.  Ah well...  :-S

    Why don't you go back to the guy at 99guitars for the missing part? Sounds like he shouldn't have sold it like that...

    Sorry mate, have I said something to upset you, or do you have a personal grudge against 99guitars? If you think their stuff is overpriced, fair enough, don't buy from there... no-one is forcing you.  I bought my Tele in good faith, at a good price and I'm very happy with it, the Les Paul too.  Enough said methinks!
