I just called into Amp Guitars in Macclesfield to have a nose about and try a few things out.

What a great shop! 

Lots of great stuff from a Collectors Choice Gibson & a Suhr, down to Epiphone and Squire. Great, no pressure vibe and Chris is a super nice chap, would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Top stuff indeed!

I bought a Gibson Les Paul Jr from there and had great service.

He was a bit miserable at the guitar show to be honest. They have some nice guitars though.

Yeah, nice guitars but the pictures are letting them down, the text in the photos running from top to bottom just makes it look a bit amateurish.

Funnily enough I was in there on Saturday - quite an 'old school' used guitar shop - when there aren't many left.

There wasn't a huge amount of stock - but I kind of liked the place.

I totally agree that the website lets it down a bit but I did really like the vibe of the place, very 'old school', reminds me of Vintage & Rare in Denmark Street when it was good.

Got my DRRI from him a while back. He open up especially for me on Sunday to collect it. Top bloke.

Website isn't the greatest to be honest though.

He's not, RH just has a couple of guitars on consignment in there at present.

Makes sense as Rich is only based a few miles away from Macclesfield. Chris's band 'the christophers' are good too.
