    Cheers, but not what I'm after really.  I've completely given up on Muffs (careful now), and I'm looking for something a little more stripped down and less tweaky.

    Yeah sorry I sold mine a month or so ago.
    I do still have a HoofReaper but I'm not sure whether I'd sell that.

    Thanks everyone...just ordered a MkII clone that looks like it'll do the job (a Magnetic Effects Solar Bender).  Will have to work around the lack of tone control, but the top-mounted jacks and smaller footprint sold me on it.
