Good P90s

What's Hot
Want to get a new neck p90 for my Epihone ES339, currently checking out Lollars and The Creamery, anyone else I should look at?

Ideally don't want to spend over £100 on it

Cheers!

Mojo or if you can find em over here Curtis Novak
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

The Lollar neck P90 in my Collings 290 is probably my favourite neck pickup of any description.

    Oil City.

Not least because Ash is often happy to tweak a design slightly if it'll work better for you.

That said, I may have a Mojo P90 sat somwhere not being used.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Oil City are the nicest P90s I've heard, are very well priced and Ash is a gentleman to deal with. Bulldogs are also excellent.

Having used mojo and oil city, I must say you really can't go wrong with either. Both owners are attentive and skillful winders, they will also guide you if you ever need any help.

  • Mojo or oil city.

Yes, they're old forum favourites but so many of us wouldn't back them if they were not so damned good...

Ash at oil city is my first stop for any pickup these days.

Ask @Jonnysixstring about Hot Rod Pickups, very tasty P90s.

I've a blue note neck (bareknuckle) in my goldtop, Alnico 2 which is lovely, especially for cleans / cleanish. What sounds are you looking for ?

+1 for the truth that both Marc Mojo and Ash Oil City are real gents who wind first-class pickups for reasonable money. (Part of me would love to try Curtis Novak, though... One day!)

The new ones?  I found them to be far better than the previous P90s and the Gibson P90s too.  A really good pickup, shame about the guitar they were attached too Epi LP Goldtop.
